The boat measures sixty by twelve feet with four hundred and seventy square feet of living space and is termed a wide beam canal boat. The owners say the boat, where it is now, offers a great economical living space right near London’s Tower Bridge.
The designers paid careful attention to detailing and craftsmanship and said every fitting has been handmade from the finest materials.
Powering the boat is a diesel engine and an electric bow thruster.
The Dusky Parakeet also features solar panels and an abundant water storage tank. This houseboat can run 100% off the grid.

Dark brown and white wall panels are punctuated with large circular windows, which makes this houseboat especially eye-catching. It is also fitted with a full-length top deck accessible from an exposed circular staircase.

The lightweight house supports a variety of structures, including a base within a floodplain, piles, or even a floating pontoon.

Overblue combines a power catamaran with a houseboat into one beautiful design. It provides better stability and lowers lateral wind sensitivity. Due to lower “hydrodynamic drag,” the houseboat is also more fuel-efficient.
Six different lengths and models are being offered, one of which features a penthouse.

They say it works in tandem with the wearer by remote control, and the unit is portable. The user can also take photos and stream the image.

New Hampshire based Mobius Bionics is a new medical device company focused on bringing advanced prosthetic technologies to upper-limb amputees.
Their LUKE Arm is the only commercially-available prosthesis with a powered shoulder. It allows an amputee to reach over their head and perform several of grip patterns.
The Luke arm resulted from years of research and development by DARPA, the U.S. Veterans Administration, and private companies.

South Korean conglomerate Samsung’s Insurance division is selling a Samsung branded flower vase that doubles as a throwable fire fighting tool.
The innovative flower holder looks like an ordinary translucent red glass decorative vase. In a sealed outer chamber is a layer of potassium carbonate, a chemical used as a fire extinguisher for B-class related fires.
In the event a fire breaks out, a person throws the vase at the fire to release the chemical. This vase would put the fire out before it becomes a more severe hazard.

Two models are available, one allowing it to travel on European roadways, and one targeted for off-roading. The Ziesel sports more than 500 newton-meters of torque and can speed up to 21.7 mph, with 5 hours of run time.
